Professional Interests: Dr. Goldman
is an epidemiologist and Director of Clinical Research
for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She has conducted
extensive research related to women’s health
issues and to the carcinogenic effects of diagnostic
and therapeutic radiation. She comes to Dartmouth from
the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive
Biology at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess
Medical Center. Dr. Goldman is a senior investigator
on FASTT and FORT-T, two large clinical trials evaluating
optimal therapies for the treatment of infertility
in younger and older women (R. Reindollar, PI). She
is Principal Investigator of an NIH-funded prospective
study on the role of nutrition, oxidative stress, and
antioxidants in conception and early pregnancy. As
Director, she facilitates faculty and resident research
in reproductive endocrinology, benign gynecology, urogynecology,
and gynecologic oncology. Dr. Goldman edited, with
Dr. Maureen Hatch, NCI, the textbook Women and Health,
published by Academic Press in 2000.
