Professional Interests: Dr.
Greenberg’s research has dealt primarily with
the cause and prevention of cancer. He led two multi-center,
randomized, controlled trials of cancer prevention
employing nutritional supplements, and he has also
been involved in studies of cancer etiology using both
case-control and cohort designs. His current focus
is on the problem of cancer and other chronic diseases
in low-income countries, and he is currently developing
a multi-center randomized trial of gastric cancer prevention
in Latin America.
